Veils Team: Getting ready for work this morning, I heard this story on NPR. We’ve talked, blogged and read a lot about the female Muslim experience, specifically dating (think back to the conversation we cut about boyfriends) but we really haven’t touched on the male experience– for obvious reasons. However, this was compelling and I feel its important that we examine Tarek’s side (perhaps Inti’s ex’s side) as well. Also, this reminded me that the struggle for American Muslims between western customs and their faith is not exclusive to women.
